Storage is "disk space" - the amount of space which a site takes for all of the HTML and graphics files. Most clients will not require more than the initial allocation of storage space.

Bandwidth is another term for "file transfer" -- the cumulative total of all files accessed (downloaded) by all site visitors, includes HTML, graphics, MP3, video -- everything that a site may offer. Even a site which fits in 150MB of storage may use a large amount of bandwidth per month even if the site has only a few thousand visitors per day. Each visitor uses bandwidth. A site which is heavy on graphics will use much more bandwidth than a site which is primarily text. An embedded audio file will be "streaming bandwidth" to every visitor.
